PERSONAL TRAINING

DETAILS​

​

  • Personal training is appropriate for anyone looking for one-on-one assistance to improve any and all aspects of their health and performance, including those:

    • Recovering from an injury, surgery, or chronic issue;

    • Looking to lose weight and/or improve their body composition;

    • Aiming to improve their overall fitness; 

    • Training for a specific event or activity/sport

  • Partner personal training is also available, if you would prefer to train with a friend or family member. You do not need to be the same age, or have the same goals or experience level. 

​

  • What to expect from personal training:​

    • All personal training sessions are 100% private. You will be the only client in the gym during your session. 

    • All personal training begins with a one hour assessment/introductory session, which includes:

      • Personal history: injuries, training experience, ​current metrics (ex. weight, body composition if desired)

      • Goal setting and expectations: what you're looking to achieve with our training sessions 

      • Physical screening: determine your strengths and weaknesses via various exercises and movements

        • This provides the necessary information to determine your training program​ baseline and progression.

    • 1 hour sessions:

      • Warm up ~10-15 minutes:

        • Stretching, mobility, activations, cardiovascular activity (skipping, biking, rowing, etc.)​

      • Main component ~45-50 minutes​: 

        • Variety of exercises​ covering a mix of the following training variables:

          • Core strength and stability​, based on your personal history

          • "Pre-hab" or rehab, based on your personal history

          • Strength development and/or muscular hypertrophy (increase in muscle mass), based on your goals

          • Athletic development (agility, coordination, speed, power), if applicable, based on your goals

          • Conditioning (a mix of both aerobic and anaerobic)

 

SCHEDULING

  • Monday - Friday.

    • ​Morning, afternoon and evening options available. 

  • You can either book a recurring time slot, or schedule as you go.

​REGISTRATION & PACKAGES

​

  • You can simply pay per session, or save by purchasing a package of sessions. 

    • Single Session: $130+HST​​​

    • 5 Session Package (no expiry), save 5%: $617.50+HST​

    • 10 Session Package (no expiry), save 15%: $1105+HST​

* Refunds not available for unused sessions in packages, but they NEVER expire.
